The Burwell House was open for tours Sunday December 4th 2019 from 1-4PM. The house was fully decked out for the holiday season in typical Victorian style. We invited you, friends and family to take a break from the bustle of the season and step back in time to 1894, when Charles and Mary Burwell lived along the banks of Minnehaha Creek with their family. No need for reservations. Afterwards they warmed up in the cottage with free hot cider, tea and bakery goods.  They also chose from our collection of vintage old time Holiday Cards that were available with a small donation to the Minnetonka Historical Society.
