Now online with MNcollections.org
Minnetonka Historical Society's online archive collection
The Minnetonka Historical Society has joined the many other MN Historical Societies in using new Collective Access software to provide an easy way to share photographs and information about our archives online. Click on the link above to browse our collection, which was recently inventoried with invaluable help from the Minnesota Historical Society's Legacy Grants Program.

PHOTOGRAPH AND DOCUMENT ARCHIVES
(Click on a category below to access our online photo archives.)
Our archives were put into folders in 10 boxes randomly in 1986. So they are all numbered starting with 1986, (for example 1986.0045). The online archives are arranged in order by box. Box #1 contains about 360 photos and documents in folders numbered 0001 through 2000 (lots of numbers are skipped)
To find specific objects that you want to study in our whole archives you eventually will be able to email MHS and tell us what to search for with our PastPerfect software. (Only the first few boxes out of 10 are entered in the database so far.) MHS will then email or mail you a list of the names and numbers of the files you want.
